Stingless bee honey that Jasmine has brought from Sarawak is among the world’s best raw honey. The tiny, harmless bees slip deep into the petals of flowers to collect nectar, including traditional medicinal plants. The honey is extracted using a straw, which not only helps to retain as many nutrients as possible, but also minimises the impact on the bees. Gula Apong is 100% palm sugar produced from the sap of nipah palm grown naturally and abundantly along the coastal areas throught Sarawak. 10L of saps only produces 1kg of gula apong. At Kakikopi, we use Gula Apong to make our famous Teh-C-Peng milk tea, ABC Ice Kacang, Durian Cendol, etc. Its distinctive aroma and rich flavor makes it a great substitute to honey and maple syrup.
